As a nonprofit organization vested in serving our community, social enterprises allow us to achieve two highly important goals. First, to empower those we help with tools to create lasting change in their lives, and second, to generate sustaining revenue that supports the Mission’s efforts.
What is social enterprise?
Social enterprises are businesses that earn revenue while supporting cultural, social, environmental and/or community economic goals.
What are the Mission’s social enterprises?
Mission Catering officially opened for business in 2012. With commercial cooking facilities already available and providing hot meals to the hungry, we saw an opportunity to build a top-notch catering business that would generate sustaining revenue while imparting valuable job skills to residents of our New Life Program.
Mission Catering offers a number of catering options, from party platters and box lunches to full-service sit down dinners. Whatever your catering needs, our award-winning culinary team will create the perfect menu for your event.
When you choose Mission Catering you give back to the community, providing critical assistance to those in immediate need while bringing hours of vocational experience that foster lasting change for our New Life residents.
