Qualifications
Must be 25 years of age
Responsible, mature, personable individual
Clean DMV record
Knowledge of greater Colorado Springs streets and neighborhoods
Ability to read a map and follow instructions
Compassionate heart for less fortunate and homeless
Duties
Pick up donations throughout Colorado Springs area, according to dispatch instructions
Receipt donors appropriately
Deliver donated goods in a timely manner back to SRM campus
Operate SRM vehicle(s) in a safe and law-abiding manner at all times
Work collaboratively with others
Environment
Work independently or with an NLP participant
Requirements
Three month minimum commitment (may be negotiable during summer break)
Commitment to regular time frame, minimum 3 hour service shift, between the following hours:
Monday - Saturday, 7:30am-4:00pm
Training
Standard Volunteer Orientation
On-going direction from staff supervisor
Special Requirements
Please give 24-hour notice if unable to come in or need to change schedule
Must meet SRM insurance carrier requirements
Must adhere to SRM Vehicle Policy
