Our Prayer Requests: May 2018

The following are prayer requests submitted by neighbors struggling with homelessness, poverty and addiction. Please join Springs Rescue Mission staff and our faithful community as we remember these precious neighbors in our daily prayers:

  • "I am thankful for all my seen and unseen blessings. Thank you, thank you, thank you!" - Diana
  • "Father God, please guide me to treatment. Keep me safe and help me be sober." - Eric
  • "Dear God, please be with my sons in their current time of need." - Diana
  • "For my wife Carole that she may be at peace and experience joy! For her happiness and well-being, and that her eye surgery will go well. Also that she will win that lawsuit against that driver that hit her last year in August, and that there will be a favorable outcome." - Adam
  • "Dear God, please help me to find the library books I lost. I tried so hard not to lose them. Please continue to bless me and all my loved ones with good and more good. Thank you!" - Diana
  • "Pray that people accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; also pray for society to help them in their time of need (clothes, shelter, employment, etc)." - Anonymous
  • "Please pray for my friend Shirley, who is struggling with lung cancer. Thank you and God bless." - Anonymous
  • "I want to thank Jesus and my Father who lives in heaven for my life and freedom. I love you. Thank you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." - Stefan
  • "Pray I can get myself out of homelessness, and that my dog Lucy will have somewhere to go while I work." - Danielle

  • "Pray that people don't take advantage of others or use them." - Anonymous
  • "Bless this day with good and more good for me and all my loved ones. Bless my purchases today. Thank you for all my seen and unseen blessings." - Diana
  • "Pray God forgives us of all our sins. Let us continue to have faith, hope, and love." - Anonymous
  • "To get food stamps, housing, and a job fast. Also to keep going to a good church." - Rosemary
  • "I pray those for those lost in addiction to come and find Christ, and to come to the end of the old them. I pray they press into which Christ Jesus has laid before them." - Anonymous
  • "Help Shirley to feel better and better every day, in every way." - Diana
  • "I pray that society accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Pray that society get clothes, food, and shelter, and any other needs they may have." - Anonymous
  • "I need a job for me and for my fiance, a car or truck, and an apartment, house, or RV. Please let me get my medicine and clothes (we have a run down suitcase). I also pray for sleeping bags, jackets, my social security card, and my birth certificate." - John
  • "I don't want to live in my car anymore! Please pray for me. I am working but not getting enough hours to get back on my feet." - Danielle
  • "Please pray for my car to be repaired." - Anonymous
  • "Dear God, please help Rick's hands and fingers. Please let them heal as good as new quickly. I know there is no big or little request with you, and I give thanks for all our seen and unseen blessings." - Diana
  • "Pray for my sobriety and my family relationships." - Anonymous
  • "I pray for everyone to stay warm and safe through the night/day, and for all of us to help one another when possible. Lord Jesus, please protect my children and grandchildren, and everyone I know. Please look after and care for everyone, even those who don't like me (for whatever reason). God bless those who give us food every day." - Monica

  • "Pray that everyone's needs (shelter, clothes, income) are met. Pray for people to accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. For people to be more courteous of others, and know we are all God's children. Let Christ be seen in all of us." - Anonymous
  • "I am blessed and highly favored. Dear God bless me with a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation today!" - Diana
  • "Pray that we help others and be considerate, that people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and do His will not ours." - Anonymous
