“I felt welcomed. I was surrounded by generous people who’d give me the shirt off their backs, who’d look me in the eye and say they love me. I’m not really used to that. But it motivated me to seek the happiness I was looking for my whole life.”
– Ed
Through the generosity of our many donors, our “store” has distributed tons of clothing every year, along with thousands of food boxes, blankets and other household items. During the winter months, we provide cold-weather clothing and gear. All of it was provided to those in need free of charge.
In 2019
We distributed more than 550,000 pounds of Gift In-Kind donations
We served an average of 550 unique families every month
You can volunteer in our store or our warehouse, donate goods to keep the shelves stocked, or give money to keep the program running. Discover our current needs at the warehouse.
I am in need of food, clothing, etc.
Our SFS store is available to the Colorado Springs community. See below for hours of operation and requirements to receive goods. The SRM kitchen provides breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
